In an effort to raise awareness and understanding about Sensory Processing Differences (SPD) and the quiet obstacles SPD can create for students and families, Dr. Amaris is currently providing a Free Sensory Processing Differences Screening for Students

Identification of neurodivergent students with sensory processing differences helps to create a foundation learning and access to resources and accommodations.
This service will provide students and the caregivers that support them with a tangible talking point with information about the student's sensory processing system. While the results of the survey are for informational purposes only and can not be used to diagnose sensory processing dysfunction, the information can set the stage for creating a foundation for learning and support.
For younger students, the screener can serve to assist a growing list of caregivers who have items involving finding therapy providers for their students as a task on the Back To School "To-Do List".
